Lion Fish is an invasive species from the Indo-Pacific that has long spines to protect it from predators, but through culling efforts has been working to reduce its population. The Cayman Islands is believed to be the first place in the western hemisphere to record a lion fish being eaten by predator without the assistance of diver spearing the Lion Fish.
