Artist's Description
Tres Amigos translates to Three Friends is a depiction of the World Famous Stingray City. It started when stingrays began gathering in the area decades ago after fisherman returning from an excursion, navigated behind the reef in the North Sound and cleaned their fish in the calm water of the shallow sandbar area, through trial and error divers realized that the stingrays could be fed by hand.
About Jerome Wilson
Jerome Wilson is a self-taught Caymanian artist with a diversified style of painting, he was exposed to fine art and sculpting in primary school found his groove in painting and embraced watercolor painting throughout school but verse with other mediums such as acrylic and pastels, being island boy he loves the ocean and free dive as a hobby and concern for the protection of environment.
